Coast and Country Canines Dog Walker Survey

What is Coast and Country Canines?

As dog walkers, we enjoy being out with our dogs in natural spaces every day, so we also need to be aware of the environment around us and how we play a part in protecting it. Coast and Country Canines is an initiative aimed at building a community of responsible dog owners who care about nature and want to have fun, safe and wildlife aware walks.
When it comes to wildlife aware dog walking, the only way forward is for dog walkers themselves to lead the way. They need to hear from you - so they are launching a Dog Walkers Survey!

What is in the survey?
The survey covers everything from how you walk your dog, to your opinions on commercial dog walkers. All the questions are optional and anonymous, just say as much as you want to, but the more information you give the better resources that can be created. They really want to get an idea of what the average dog walk looks like, as well as any variations, and to know what people feel about dog walking.

The intention is to make sure they are reflecting the needs and opinions of a variety of dog walkers and importantly their dogs! Our dogs all have individual preferences and what one dog loves on a walk may not suit another. Hopefully by collecting these answers improvements can be made for dog walkers.

For example, they want to expand the selection of featured walks, and make sure that they include all the information dog walkers find important. They also want to work with landowners to create new and better spaces for dog walks. And they would love to work with dog focused businesses to help get the best advice out to all dog owners.

How can you take the survey?
Go to: Home - Coast and Country Canines and on the homepage you will find a link to the Survey.
